Were you a Disney animator?
Though Walt Disney World Resort is located less than 2 miles from my home (and I hear Epcot's fireworks nightly), most of the animation jobs are located in California, not Florida. I have never worked in Disney animation. I do, howver, have a license to paint Disney charaacters. My Disney paintings are published by Disney Fine Art.
Can you help me become a Disney artist?
I'm still not even sure how it happened myself! The best advice I can give to an artist seeking to become a Disney fine artist is to simply paint (a lot), hone your craft and refuse to be discouraged.
Can I use one of your images as the wallpaper on my phone?
You got it! Visit the Extras section of my website for free downloads designed to fit your smartphone.
What's the story with Beauregard the frog?
Beau (my frog character which is found in all of my paintings) is the product of influences found in life. After a tiny green frog hopped onto a glass window near my office, I watched him for a while imagining where he might have been, where he was going. I wondered about his encounters with other animals and the cSSuriosity that landed him on the window. From that, Beau was born.
