I've been sitting on some pretty big news for a while ... Barely been able to contain myself ... But now I can finally announce it! I am extremely proud to share that I've recently inked a deal with Disney Fine Art by Collectors Editions! This means that I am now amongst a small handful of artists who can paint Disney fine art featuring our favorite Disney characters. I can't wait to show you what I've been working on, but I must remain patient a bit longer while the stage is set for a grand reveal from DisneyFineArt.com. In the meantime, however, I've been given the green light to show one piece for now. So, click the thumbnail below and check it out on Facebook ... be sure to let me know what you think!

I just got back from my first Royal Caribbean cruise on the Oasis of the Seas where I was the featured artist. I had a great time, met new friends, scarfed down a beef patty in Jamaica, went snorkeling at the reefs in Cozumel, sipped a morning Starbucks (yep, there's one on the boat) and had way too much good food!
6 January 12
Fantastic news! My artwork is now available on Royal Caribbean cruise lines! Currently on 12 boats, my work is slated to be on their entire fleet within the coming weeks. Additionally, I am cruising as the featured artist on a 7-night cruise of the Western Caribbean January 21 - 28 on board the Oasis of the Seas. Looking forward to painting at sea, enjoying great food and watching the brave wipe out on the FlowRider surf simulators!
Join me January 21 - 28 on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas for a week of art, food and fun! For information about the cruise, please contact Artist Proof Management (email Joshua Segal or call 407.421.2596).

I need your help. Put on your creative thinking caps! The title 'Three Sheets" was a working title that just stuck with the release of this painting. However, I don't think the title fits the painting (character, environment, mood). So, I want to rename this painting with your help.
Through December 15, send me your suggestions for a new name. We'll select three of those names and then ask you to vote on your favorite name.
The author of the new name (as selected by you) will receive a certificate showing the official naming and a set of 12 note cards featuring the painting (with credit given on back for the title).
I look forward to your ideas and presenting the official (and permanent) new name!

Yes, there is a small green character to find (let me know if you find him) and there is one other sort of "Easter Egg" that is in the painting as well (though not so hidden). Check them both out in the Gallery!

I'm starting a Photos section in my Facebook page which will be my "Brag Book" and I'm asking all of you to help me fill the pages. Really, I only ever see my own artwork on the easel as its being painted on hanging on the walls of my show tent. So, after we've met and you take the artwork home, I don't get to see the really cool part (it hanging on your wall). So, send me your snapshots of you with your favorite piece of my art and tell me where you bought it (what town, festival or show) and I'm going to start a collection in my Photos section of Facebook. Send your snapshot by email (rob@robkazart.com) or just post it directly to my Facebook Page and I'll make sure it winds up in the Photos section. Thanks for helping me fill the pages of my brag book! I look forward to seeing the snapshots!
17 March 10

The FurBall was spectacular! I'm proud to report that both of my artworks were sold at a price well-above the starting bid and, in fact, there was nearly a bidding war on Bathtime. I'm very excited to see that money go towards the SPCA. This was a very moving and amazing event. I've already made the decision to donate artwork again next year!
6 May 09
I have donated one framed, artist-enhanced Giclee of Curiosity and one framed print of Bathtime to the Orlando SPCA to be auctioned at the 18th Annual FurBall. The event, held at SeaWorld Orlando, is a silent auction spectacular benefiting SPCA. The two paintings I donated are inspired by my dog, Kira, who was adopted from Orlando's SPCA. Please consider purchasing tickets for the event (it'll be a fun one for sure), come out and visit me, but most of all, please consider adoption!
