I'm pleased to announce my artwork will soon be available at Singing Stone Gallery in Ybor City, FL. A few prints are there now and originals and giclees will follow. In the near future, the gallery will host an artist meet-and-greet during which I hope to see lots of you! I'll be sure to update.

Thank you to everyone who donated in any way to tonight's SPCA FurBall! My artist-proof giclee of Wasn't Me raised $700 and all total my artwork (all framed giclees) raised more than $1200 for the organization that gave me Kira. Thanks to all who particpated, those who produced the event and everyone on staff with SPCA. By far, this is my favorite event of the year and I honestly can't wait for next year's event.

It's a rainy Monday, but I start it with great news. I found out late last night that I will be a featured artist at Club Of The Waves (www.clubofthewaves.com). The site features some really fantastic working artists including Heather Brown, Ron Croci, Robb Havassy and Jim Evans just to name a few. I am honored! I'll post a note once the feature has been completed and posted by the editors of COTW.

I'm starting a Photos section in my Facebook page which will be my "Brag Book" and I'm asking all of you to help me fill the pages. Really, I only ever see my own artwork on the easel as its being painted on hanging on the walls of my show tent. So, after we've met and you take the artwork home, I don't get to see the really cool part (it hanging on your wall). So, send me your snapshots of you with your favorite piece of my art and tell me where you bought it (what town, festival or show) and I'm going to start a collection in my Photos section of Facebook. Send your snapshot by email (rob@robkazart.com) or just post it directly to my Facebook Page and I'll make sure it winds up in the Photos section. This past Saturday's show in Baldwin Park was a lot of fun. The weather turned out great (though a bit windy) and I was very excited to see several people who came out for the festival. Congrats to V.R. who was the first person to stop by my booth and mention she saw the hidden clue in my newsletter. She picked out a print of Nightlight and took it home free!

I have learned that Celebration has cancelled the Celebration Spring Art Festival scheduled for April. Bit of a bummer since downtown Celebration is literally my backyard. I'm hoping to schedule a few other shows for April - I'll definitely be posting updates.

I started back at EA Tiburon (Electronic Arts) today, again on a temporary contract basis. I'll be working as a character modeler for NCAA Football 11 creating artwork for various elements of the game (uniforms, shoes, etc.).

I'm very proud to announce I have been invited to exhibit artwork at the City of Brea Art Gallery in Brea, California. My work will be part of a show titled, "For Love or Money" that will run from August 2 - September 11. I will have four original paintings on display along with a looping DVD of my artistic contribution to EAs Madden 09, Madden 10 and NCAA 10. The four paintings are Hey You, Hey Me, Beacon and Chance Encounter.

My latest contract with Electronic Arts Tiburon (EA) has drawn to an end (hopefully, I will return again in December for yet another six-month contract). I take a lot of pride in the work I did on NCAA Football 10. Look for its release on July 14!

The FurBall was spectacular! I'm proud to report that both of my artworks were sold at a price well-above the starting bid and, in fact, there was nearly a bidding war on Bathtime. I'm very excited to see that money go towards the SPCA. This was a very moving and amazing event. I've already made the decision to donate artwork again next year!

I have donated one framed, artist-enhanced Giclee of Curiosity and one framed print of Bathtime to the Orlando SPCA to be auctioned at the 18th Annual FurBall. The event, held at SeaWorld Orlando, is a silent auction spectacular benefiting SPCA. The two paintings I donated are inspired by my dog, Kira, who was adopted from Orlando's SPCA. Please consider purchasing tickets for the event (it'll be a fun one for sure), come out and visit me, but most of all, please consider adoption!
